About the Author

Katrina Avey spent more than 30 years in corporate management, most recently as Director of Intellectual Property Strategy at AT&T, before choosing a different kind of success. She knows what it means to be quietly stuck, and she knows what it takes to write a next chapter worth living.

Her Philosophy

An honest midlife pause

After decades of chasing conventional milestones, Katrina found herself standing inside a life she was supposed to want, yet feeling a persistent, unspoken stagnation. Quietly Stuck was born from that honest friction.

She writes not to offer a loud blueprint for starting over, but to validate the courage it takes to pause, listen, and choose intentional stillness in a world that demands constant motion.

A guiding truth

We do not need louder ambitions; we need the courage to sit with the quiet space between them.
