Katrina Avey knows the particular ache of a life that looks successful from the outside while something deeper goes unmet. She spent more than three decades in corporate management, rising to Director of Intellectual Property Strategy at AT&T. It was a career that was impressive by every measure, and yet left her quietly asking the same question this book is named for.

Since taking early retirement, Katrina has built a life that genuinely reflects who she is. She created a thriving Etsy store, launched a branded coaching business with Thrive Vibe Creations and has dedicated herself to helping high-achieving women rediscover their passion and purpose. The path wasn't always smooth.
